Quite Contrary
Today, I have begun Take #2 on my vegetable patch!
My first attempt ended something like this, but on a far greater scale:
Note the thriving weed, sigh.
The secret to my success this time will be not to plant them right at the start of a 43-degree heatwave!
So far, they look happy:

I have been inspired! Today, after reading your blog, I went to Mitre 10 and got myself some special veggie soil and a big tub and sewed some seeds as well as the veggies that you & Josh gave me for my b’day! Fresh produce a go-go!
